When to go?

Dubai is sunny and warm all year round but from November to April, Dubai makes a great getaway for winter sun. May, September and October are great for quiet, beach holidays. 

Where to stay?

One & Only Royal Mirage, Dubai

Initially built to be an Arabian fortress, this hotel's high-vaulted ceilings, long corridors complete with gilded archways, towering palm trees and bushes of bougainvillea planted throughout the grounds all contribute to the regal feel. The rooms have a contemporary Arabic theme with plenty of intricately decorated accessories and brightly coloured brocade bedroom accents. Set in a prime position on Dubai's iconic man-made palm-shaped island, this hotel is a great alternative to the city's larger, more flamboyant options and perfect for peace and quiet. Guestrooms are divided between the main manor house and low-rise beachfront villas with gardens and balconies.
